QRA for PS14, RoW and PS1 QRA for Kenya Pipeline Company Limited

Successfully carried out a Comprehensive Quantitative Risk Assessment for Kipevu Oil Storage Facility (KOSF – PS14) and the Right of Way (ROW) between PS 14 and PS1 in Mombasa using world class software and tools. The objective of the QRA was to assess and quantify risks associated with the encroachment of KPCs RoW between PS14 and PS1. Of particular concern was the slum neighbouring the PS 14 referred to as Half London which is part of the larger ‘Kalahari’ informal settlement area and what potential impacts they would face should there be a significant impact in the depot.

Assessed Location Specific Individual Risk (LSIR), Individual Risk Per Annum (IRPA), Societal Risk, Impact on Neighbouring Facilities and gave appropriate recommendations to KPC.
