Engineering and Project Management Services for Adcock Ingram’s Pharmaceutical Projects in Africa
Set up a Project Management Office (PMO) to provide complete project management and engineering services for all their operations in Africa, outside of South Africa. Projects handled include but not limited to the following:
- Design and project management of the upgrade of syrup production, beta lactum, solid oral dosages, creams and ointments and small volume parenteral (SVP) for Factory 1 and 2 in Tesano Area, Acra Ghana.
- Conducting a comprehensive feasibility study to identify the most strategic location in West Africa for Adcock Ingram to set up their headquarters and core of their operations in the Region. Countries evaluated included Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
Existing and potential brownfield location in Kumasi, Ashanti Region
Potential Brownfield sites in Accra Ghana
- Developed facility operations restart program for a moribund large volume parenteral (LVP) and proposals for upgrading a solid oral dosages factory in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.
- Leading and coordinating the setting up of warehouse storage facilities at the RTT Facilities in SEMCO Park Mombasa Road and relocating Adcock Ingram East Africa Operations to RTT from Surgilinks facilities in South B Area of Nairobi.
